Miss Respect, Mr. Love, Miss Friend, Mr. Effort, Miss Health, Mr. Peace, Miss Equal,

Mr. Solidarity, Miss Ecologist and Mr. Happy are the perfect group of friends.

They are really nice people.

They are the protagonists of our stories.

This is a proposal for a second level of Primary Education syllabus. However, I have made some reflections about the characters that you may find interesting, no matter how old are you. These characters are good for everyone so, even though you may know them, it is not bad to reflect a little bit about them and their importance in our daily life.

· Miss. Respect

- Protagonist of unit: 2

- Contents: School (rules, classroom materials, spaces) and Numbers 1-10.

- Country: England.

- Value: Respect.

We are all humans. However, we are all different somehow. What would we do without Miss respect? Miss Respect teach us how to see our differences not as something that divide us, but as a brilliant opportunity of union and comprehension to learn from each other.

We all make mistakes sometimes and we all have things to improve, nobody is perfect. Nevertheless, we also must respect ourselves. Frequently, we are really cruel to ourselves when we fail or commit mistakes...Therefore, we also must show sympathy and comprehension to ourselves, to our own body, mind and feelings. That is why Miss Respect and Mr. Healthy are best friends.

There is another kind of respect which we can not forget. The respect to our planet. After all, we must be more than grateful to our mother Earth which provide us with the conditions required for life. We must take care of it and protect it. This is one of the reasons why Miss Respect and Miss Ecology are really good friends. They will be really happy when they hear about out School Recycling Project.

· Mr. Love

- Protagonist of unit: 3

- Contents: Family members, numbers 1-15 and qualifying adjectives (tall, short, fat, thin...).

- Country: Scotland

- Value: Love.

What could we say about Mr. Love? Everybody knows him... but everybody describes him in a different way. What it seem quite interesting is that Mr. Love is not only in one place at a time. If you can look carefully, you will find him everywhere you go... even when you do not move to anywhere... or even when you close your eyes. If you look deeply you will find him.

I will share some quotes that made me reflect about Mr. Love.

"Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love." Stevie wonder.

Love of mothers. Is there something purer than that? It is such a selfless and generous love. I have chosen this quote of Stevie Wonder because it includes three words that i find really important: Mama (love of mothers), teacher (values) and flower (comparison with nature which somehow is our main mother).

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King, Jr.

In life... we all have smaller or bigger problems sometimes. They can leave us dizzy and lost without our permission. They can push us to the dark side of the way, where usually there is suffering, pain or even hate. This is the road to nowhere. That is the main reason why it is so important to have good mechanism and tools of emotional self-control and develop them as soon as possible. If not, we will be prisoners of the storms of our life. Therefore, i ask you a question. Do you dare to take control of your life? The better sailors fight the storm when it comes by surprise. Article 4.6 from our Andalusian Order of January 15/2021 consider the importance of emotional management.

No matter how big is the storm, if you can take over the rudder you will deal with it. If not, you will probably drown in an ocean of pain. The key? To have faith. To do not lose any hope, to have confidence in yourself, to love life. Lots of times it is in troubled waters when we learn the most. Next quote was said about 1.865 years ago by a person that marked our history. It may be for a reason.

But if we go further in time, there were so many more wise people that thought of the importance of love. Here I leave something that was said about 2.500 year ago and it still can be applied nowadays.

"It is easy to hate and it is difficult to love. This is how the whole scheme of things works. All good things are difficult to achieve; and bad things are very easy to get." Confucius

As you already know, we could spend hours and hours presenting Mr. love but for today it is enough and it is your time to know about him in real life. Feel the love of life!
